In June 2013, the Russian parliament voted a law that prohibits "propaganda of sexual minorities". Groups of extremists, in total impunity, organized hounding against homosexuals and posting on social networks of public videos in which people were humiliated and beaten up because of their homosexuality.

The denunciation of attacks on the dignity and on human rights gave the idea of STAND to Jonathan TAIEB and all the actors, scriptwriters and technicians who have risked everything to make this film. Along with the film's release on June 24 in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and France, and following recent atrocities in the world, an awareness campaign on respect for human rights is launched to enable everyone to engage against all forms of discrimination around the world: stand4humanrights.com.

En Juin 2013, le parlement russe vote une loi qui interdit « la propagande des minorités sexuelles ». Des groupes d’extrémistes, en toute impunité, organisent des traques contre des homosexuels et postent sur les réseaux sociaux des vidéos publique sur lesquelles des personnes sont humiliées et tabassées parce qu’homosexuel.

La dénonciation des atteintes à la dignité et aux droits humains, voilà ce qui a donné l’idée de STAND à Jonathan TAIEB et l’ensemble des comédiens, scénaristes et techniciens qui ont pris tous les risques pour réaliser ce film. Parallèlement à la sortie du film le 24 Juin en Russie, Ukraine, Biélorussie et en France, et a la suite de exactions récentes dans le monde, une campagne de sensibilisation au respect des droits de l’homme est lancée pour permettre à tout le monde de s’engager contre toutes les formes de discriminations à travers le monde : stand4humanrights.com.
